A story that began in a small workshop in the heart of Cape Town.

What started as ideas, dreams and rough sketches slowly evolved into detailed digital designs and eventually into midnight welding sessions as prototypes came to life. Two longtime friends combined their creative abilities and shared vision to build something real: Fountey.

Fountey is more than a bike brand. It’s a lifestyle rooted in the love of riding, exploring new places, seeing the world differently, sharing ideas and meeting new friends along the way. The name comes from a local BMX meetup spot from back in the day, a place where creativity, community and adventure naturally came together.

That same spirit now lives in every Fountey build.
